Model Plan Information

When LMA had a fracking contract, LMA members Ben Duke and Scott Gansell worked diligently to put together a model plan, and LMA entered into an arrangement with Penn State to use our watershed to develop the tools to protect our environment.  Thus, our air and water are monitored in order to have early warning of contamination and to keep LMA members safe as they enjoy the outdoors.  The following documents give details about the plan.

Continuous Instream Monitoring Reports (CIMR)

In 2011-2014, prior to possible gas well construction, several water quality studies of Lake Mokoma tributaries were conducted by the PA Department of Environmental Protection. These reports collected baseline data on things like water temperature, pH, and biological communities. You may view each report below by clicking on the appropriate link.
