Announcements:

February Board Meeting Date

The February 2024 Board Meeting date has been changed to Feb. 13th because of Valentine's day.

Changes to Board Meeting Procedures

Current Board Meeting Procedure: Managers and committee chairs will not be making oral reports unless they deem it necessary. Any LMA Member who wishes to address the Board during a regularly scheduled meeting will need to submit a request to do so to Amy Harte (LMA Secretary: amharte3@gmail.com) no later than two weeks prior to the meeting. Members who make such a request will be notified whether or not the Board will consider the issue during the meeting, and if so, the speaker will have no more than five minutes to present comments.

Since some items or concerns may be more complex and require more time, research, and discussion than others, the Board may not take formal action during the meeting on issues that are presented, but instead may table those and then communicate with the member via email or some other means regarding any action or resolution that occurs. Depending upon the nature of the issue, those resolutions would be recorded in the Minutes under the category of "Actions taken between meetings."
